9. Artificial Intelligence and Third-Party AI Providers

MiniMinds uses artificial intelligence to power your conversations with the AI personas (“miniminds”) in the app. To generate responses and provide related features, we share the content of your interactions with third-party AI service providers. This section explains what we share, who we share it with, how it is used, and how you consent to it.

What we share. When you interact with a minimind, we send the content of that interaction to our AI providers so they can generate a response. This may include:

• the text of your messages;
• any images, photos, documents, or other files you choose to attach to a conversation;
• audio from voice conversations (your spoken words); and
• limited context needed to personalize the response, such as earlier messages in the conversation and information you have added to your profile or memory.

We send this content only to operate the features you are using.

Who we share it with. We share this content with the following third-party AI providers:

• Large language model providers, who generate text responses — including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google (and, depending on the minimind, other model providers such as Mistral AI, DeepSeek, and xAI);
• Voice AI providers, who transcribe your speech and generate spoken responses — including ElevenLabs; and
• Web search providers, when a minimind retrieves information to answer you — including Tavily.

The specific provider used may depend on the minimind and the feature. Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy and under a data-processing agreement with us.

How it is used. These providers process the content you send solely to perform the requested task — generating a response, transcribing or synthesizing audio, or retrieving information — and to return the result to us. We require our AI providers, by contract, to protect your data to a standard equal to the protections described in this Privacy Policy and to use your content only to provide the service to us. We do not sell your conversation content, and we do not permit these providers to use it for advertising or to train their own models except as permitted under our agreements with them.

Your consent and choices. Before your conversation content is shared with an AI provider, we ask for your permission within the app. You may decline, though the AI features of MiniMinds require this sharing to function. Please do not include information in a conversation that you would not want sent to these providers. You can delete your conversations at any time in the app; content already processed by a provider is thereafter handled under that provider's data-retention terms.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
